x2. Step by step instructions laid out with pictures for the important parts. My only quarrel with the manual is their recommendation of Hylomar. My rebuilt transmission leaks like sieve.

Looks like it's beyond repair POS Canadian/Saudi lightweight....Those Canadians put that hi-jacked Maple syrup in the tranny.

So where are you now?

I have to say this thread reinforces my belief that a rover is always broken, but rarely broken down.

Series boxes are easy to rebuild. The gold I am not sure the cause, but you can't use GL5 gear old in a series box or it eats the yellow metal.

Light weight is in the bunker...he's at the race...it's a 3 day thing so...I already had plans. He's heading out Sunday to Dallas then to Arkcansas. Still only 1st and 4th and at this point only adds fluid(s), yes plural for fun because once he stops, well he wasn't kidding about super fund! Lol...
