Robert Davis (rdavisinva) has them in stock, have him overnight you a set. I just sold off my spare set a few months ago otherwise I'd offer them up as spares to get you home....

Bummer....he had 1 set left as of last evening @ 8pm:
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...tml#post679476

Assuming someone on the board bought them in the last 12-hours, I'd assume Robert hasn't shipped them out to them yet. Perhaps he can ask "nicely" if the customer would be ok with sending them to you either temporarily or until he gets more sets in. May be worth a shot.

Most likely sleeping off the last tinder date, or out zipping along at 4k rpm in the tindermobile™. Either way I doubt he will notice all your texts coming through.

Santa Fe NM

After The repair we picked up Jonathan Heisler at the airport only a couple hours late. We spend the night in Flagstaff and headed up to the south rim of the Grand Canyon the next day. we split up from Chris and headed through the Navajo nation and into the Apache nation and camp at Angels Peek. Today we travel through Cuba New Mexico on dirt roads to Los Alamos where we met a couple that Rob and I met at the Grand Canyon. We are now in Santa Fe trying to meet up with Matt Buzon and his Yota

It has been quiet

Last I talked to him he was considering driving North to Moab for a Jeep gathering...maybe they ate him. All joking aside I too hope all is well and he is happily touring Colorado as I type this. Drew

Brandon is passenger-less now as Long Yellow Hair flew out of San Antonio today. Brandon should be making his way to Arkansas this weekend for a family function, then he'll be heading up to Omaha to see me (and JohnsD90) the week of November 4th. If anyone knows of a known-good series transmission between Bentonville, AR and Omaha, NE let me know. The little Lightweight that could only predictably has 1st and 4th gear.

Rob - you might have Brandon try Nigel. He has some interesting stuff on occasion although not sure about Series stuff. However, he seems to know a lot of people. Not sure if he is on the way. Drew

Say the word, Brandon, and I will arrange for the S3 HiCap to be delivered to Omaha, NE for you:

Take the plates off the LW, pull a few spare parts, push it into the woods, and prepare for a sudden increase in size of the "tinder bed" in the rear. I will pay for the haul to Nebraska.

Awesome trip. Enjoy!

Brandon- You might want to talk to Albuquerque Scott again. I know he has 2 used Series transmissions. The one from his ambulance project is probably the better of the 2 IMO. Just spitballin' here...

Jeff

Didn't realize you already talked to Scott when you came thru town. But I just spoke with him and, if needed, they are still available.

Or just someone that is experienced and helpful in fixing it. He just dropped a circlip off the main shaft. It is not rocket surgery.
