So I have not had a gearbox leak since I owned it. We pulled it out of the garage and turned it around to build the bed. We are packing up and the truck has taken a piss. I think it is grumpy.

We drive one mile to Home Depot to return some stuff and the key won't come out of the ignition. What the hell?

Anyone know a good exorcist?

I'm not sure, but it might be stainless. He is gone now.....so I can't check.

Hopefully he is at the border in a few hours and I told him to report on his import experience.

The flight:
After a one hour delay at JFK that made me miss my connection in Toronto. I finally made it to Calgary. Red90 was waiting there at midnight to pick me up. We pulled into the driveway and the garage door opened and there it was in all its 2 and a 1/4 liters of fuery. After more than a month the vehicle on the web was real. After talking shop till 3am it was time for bed.

D-day:
After a very restless 5hrs of sleep it was 8am which means it is time to get to work. May things needed to be done including un packing my gear from my bags into the vehicle, packing the spares into the vehicle, and designing and building a sleeping platform. After a quick run around the corner to Tim Hortons and the on to Home Depot We had the fuel and material needed to get the job done. A few hrs later around 3 pm I was ready to Depart. Got in the truck for the first time and left towards Mericua. About 4 hrs and 215miles later I was at the port of entry at Sweetgrass, Montana.

The Import:
I pull the Lightweight into the lane and the agent waves me forward. I tell him I need to import the truck and he goes what plates are on it, I say Vermont. He responded but the vehicle has not been in the county and I said Vermont will give you plates for anything they just want tax dollars. His response was "that makes sense, come on in and fill out some paper work ". Three forms and a duty fee later and the truck was now totally legit and had made it from Saudi Arabia to Canada and now the US of A.

And the adventure begins.

Awesome

I've often wondered what they would do at the border if you drove over in a vehicle with US plates. Will talk with you more about it next time I see you.

Boarding the plane in Omaha, eta in Bozeman is ~8:30. Brandon was 107 miles out as of an hour or two ago.
