Either way, I don't think it's all that into it! ;-)

My time in Omaha has ceased, but as an update: used transmission works in all 4+R gears, we only had low range working last night, but that will be fixed with correctly installed linkage. Bad news is he broke another snap ring, this time in the overdrive, so we installed the stock gear and cover in the tcase and called it a late night.

Lightweight should be ready to roll after today. Transmission is in and working, all hubs have been resealed and brakes inspected. Just waiting for some inclement weather to pass before hitting the road Friday:

Been out of contact for a while. After spending 12 days at Rob's repair shop in Omaha Nebraska made it back on the road. Hopefully will make it to DC area for the NoVa happy hour. Been doing long days 400 miles plus which at 50mph is a lot . Left Omaha and traveled across Iowa and camped on the Des Moines River in the south east corner of Iowa. I then drove down 61 to St Louis had some pappys bbq and headed east on 50 and camped in the Hoosier National Forest. Woke up the next morning and headed into Louisville from there i headed I across to Lexington Ky. From Lexington I made it to Ohio into the Wayne National forest which was having a prescribed burn so it was a smoke fest. The campground was closed so camped by the road. Got up this morning and drove into Huntington West Virginia. The plan for today is to head North East to the Monongahela National Forest.

Truck seems to be holding up after the comprehensive repair.
