Katie and I are super jealous of your road trip. Thumbs up on the rover road trip.

I finally finished editing the videos from the first portion of my trip with Brandon. Just in time for his arrival in Omaha tomorrow or Wednesday. This covers from Bozeman, MT, to the Grand Canyon, my footage from WNLRR will be in a second video.

After a few days in Bentonville Arkansas I got back on the road yesterday heading north west towards Omaha Nebraska. The radiator is completely shot at this point and overnight leaks it's total contents onto the floor. I covered about 200 miles and camped in the Peabody conservation area in Missouri. Today I'll drive up to Omaha which is about 300 miles and there I will have transmission salvation. Looking forward to getting the truck sorted so I don't have to baby it as much. It's going to be an awesome weekend with John's90 and rwolschlarger.

Just read this whole thread.

Fucking awesome trip dude. You are either super dedicated or completely insane, I'm not sure yet. I would have driven my truck off of a cliff and gotten on a plane or picked up some econobox beater to finish the trip. Makes my cross country trip I took a few years ago look like a drive around the block. If you do make it back to the island in one piece, let's go wheel some sand hills and grab a beer. I owe you one for the entertainment.

Love the video. Takes me back to my cross country trip 14 years ago. The goal was to delivery a new 2001 Jeep Cherokee to my sister in Breckenridge - 4 months, 19k miles, 37 national parks, and a lot of Utah red sand later, we arrived. Keep it up!
