Indeed, mine also had the steering wheel installed.
For the rear gearboxes assembly, there is one screw to fix each side to the body. I think I had to supply these two screws as there was a few missing. The idea is to secure the wheel assemblies to the plastic body. If I recall right, I needed to lift the protecting cover a little bit.

A couple tips;
1. 'gasket' means washer...
2. If the wheels dont line up right on the axles, you can use a hammer to tap the axles to equal them out.
I think my vehicle was partially put together as some of the steps in the instructions were already done, such as the supports and steering wheel.
Michel -- Do you know what this one means:
"Put the motor part of the right gearbox into the hole of the car body, fix the right gearbox by one screw, the left gearbox fix as the same way.(according the photo)Remark: before fix the rear wheels, must fix the drive wheel gear by the screws (according the photo at right)"
I don't know what screw they meant for the gear box... It slide into the hole, there was the protecting piece of plastic over it, but no other screws to turn.
I'll upload pics in a day or two... overall though, the truck looks great!
