Yeap for Stainless ( pretty sure .. but we could double check )

What I meant about the order with 10 ppl is we order them, ( split the 900.00 ) and we sell them from one hub, but that was just an idea.

I am in too ( but with the surgery comming , not sure I can volunteer to be the hub, is that is the route we take )

The problem with splitting up the costs between 10 people, is that you now have 10 people trying to resell theirs to a limited audience (competing), but I'd do it.

Just for that , Gary your share is 99.00 and no return... j/k

So far we have three investors: Gustavo, Charles, and me. Any others who haven't spent enough money on their Rover(s) this month?

Mmh, I guess we should pick some art work first, or is the "Travels with Rover" what we were taking about doing?

Come on people, this is a chance in a lifetime. You can get 10 custom bottle openers shipped for less than the price of 5 "Sam Adams" ones! Don't make me have to spend $300 for 30 - it just doesn't sound as good of an investment...

I would prefer the plain old Land Rover logo.

Pending the final artwork I may be willing to go in as an "investor"...as long as I am guaranteed a return on my investment! oh wait, even my accountant stopped doing that!

I am inclined to the plain Oval Rover Logo.

Maybe One Life. Live it if wording needed, but still would like the plain rover.

Sweet, 4 or 5 investors. This is starting to look doable.

I'd be in favor of the oval logo, except I thought that would require royalties?

But here is one they could use

I'm not volunteering Gery (AmityD90) to do this, but he's done some amazing stuff in the past for some stickers. Some good ideas:

Am I wrong about licensing/copyright issues? If yes then lets do the plain LR logo. If not, then I vote for simply "Defender" in green and a slight curve, although I'm font blind so it would good to get help there. Space is an issue so I don't think we can get too fancy.

Should do it with the oldschool LR logo;

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3400/...bf913c9960.jpg

If you're looking to make sure they all sell, may not want to put 'Defender' on them as to limit your audience.. with 'LR' the rest of us who dont currently have defenders can put them on our other rovers

Im not trying to condone piracy but the people on this board are enthusiasts and the biggest supporters of the brand land rover is lucky enough have. No way they are going to come after you for a group buy of bottle openers. Seriously think about it.

I'm definitely in for one, but I think it's going to take a long time to sell 100 to just a Defender crowd. Go with the oval, and open up perhaps to Dweb and regional clubs?

If it's a oval or rover script I'd be interested in one

especially if you use an older (retired) logo that has more of a chance of being part of public domain and/or common enough to not warrant any more current copyright issues

I may be investor #6, $100 for 10 to sell on our own?

Not sure we have room for the old school logo though. But I'm all for something a little more generic than defender.

Welcome to the inner circle.
