I'll be in Boston for the week of July 22nd (2 weeks) and staying at the intercontinental near Faneuil Hall if anyone is up for a beer and gear night.

Did a travel website tell you the Intercontinental is near Faneuil Hall? Just curious because they're not in what most would consider the same neighborhood although we have a different perception of time and distance around here.

Being military, I consider it all walking distance, and the walk home is shorter than the walk there! I've been up there several times for bank biz, with training downtown somewhere on Franklin St. I enjoy the walk to Faneuil Hall. Boston is a great walking around town

If you fancy a quiet pint try Donovan's in Faneuil Hall, just a bar no food.
