Bob Marley's Series Restoration

Apparently Bob Marley's Series III pickup has been sitting outside since the 80's. It's getting restored now.

Found a page on the AB site about it too:

Yes, full on restoration! We ran a little contest on Facebook to have people guess the amount of parts in the box we sent them. It's very cool what they're doing.

Hopefully they keep the patina. If it looks like the average showroom restoration, you lose all the history behind it. A rover's patina is it's visual history record. In a patina'd rover, (but clean and fixed up of course) we can picture Bob riding around rough and tumble in this thing in the countryside etc etc etc if it's shiny and looking brand new, you don't make those associations.

Its great that they're fixing it up though, keeping it from getting worse and worse.. It's a dream resto!!
