BMW drivers really are jerks

I've been saying this for years. LMAO

They also forgot Lexus.

Every one driver car I see in the car pool lane here in Phoenx is a BMW or an Acura.

Standard Arizona Joke:
(Q) What is the difference between a BMW and a saguaro cactus?

(A) The saguaro's pricks are on the outside.

Also of interest:

10 used cars you should probably own

http://autos.yahoo.com/photos/10-use...439082945.html

We found 10 cars (OK, there are a few trucks) that are decidedly cool, hold their value and aren't likely to depreciate while you enjoy them. Heck, we'd even bet you could make money on most.

As always, there are exceptions. Maintenance costs are the big one and it's hard to pin down which car might do the least damage to your wallet in the long run. A good pre-purchase inspection with a reputable mechanic will go a long way in making sure you buy the right car. | By Bradford Elsinore

1997 Land Rover Defender 90

Cost: $39,000-$75,000
Why: The 182 hp from the Defender's 3.9-liter V8 sounds underpowered today, but when mated to the tried-and-true all-wheel-drive setup of the Range Rover it proves more than enough to do what the Defender was built to do: go anywhere.

The 1997 model-year Defender 90 was the last to be brought to the U.S. market. The niche appeal of its old-school off-roader aesthetic combined with ever-shrinking numbers of well-maintained cars conspires to keep prices exceptionally high. When you see a Defender in person it's easy to understand why they're so coveted: the square-ish, bulky body mated to big, mud-stomping tires tickles just about all of the basic instincts of off-roaders. Built to get you wherever you need to go in all conditions, the Defender 90's high cost of ownership is outweighed by its cool factor, scarcity and raw capability.

Fighting the urge to send this to the ex-wife, both she and her boyfriend drive BMWs. Too funny!

Today, it seems that everyone on the road is a jackass... Too self important to stop at a stop sign or for an old lady in the crosswalk. Maybe low self esteem and compensating for something go together with many of the high line cars, especially in Atlanta.

One of my neighbors routinely parks his Lamborghini at the end of his driveway with the door open.

I drive a BMW, so to hell with you guys! Not to mention some 94's, and all 95 and 97 D90's were built under BWM ownership.

Ha, the first one on the linked video happened less than 10 miles from me. The BMW driver 'tootin his horn and then "high centering" on the concrete barrier is hilarious, doubly so because it served him right... he went from being in a hurry to going nowhere.

I'll just have to learn to accept I'm a jerk and love the jerk I am. j/k I'm usually a very polite driver. I don't tailgate like most people on the road around here and I always stop for pedestrians. I used to like going fast, until I bought a Defender. Going slow in an open air 4x4 is much more fun than worrying about speeding tickets or getting in a high-speed wreck. My DD is a BMW, but this one has such long gears in the diff that it doesn't go very fast. Prius's pass me like hot cakes. A new BMW was trying to race me the other day and when he quickly discovered he could waste me like nothing he slowed down so I could keep up. Sometimes a turtle still gets to race.
