Cool car btw Shayne!

That's it in a nutshell! I mean don't get me wrong, I loved my 2002s and my E9 and the 507 might be one of the most gorgeous cars ever, but from a consumer and pinnacle standpoint the 1980s were it from BMW........then entered Chris Bangle and it was all downhill from there.

Now they make fancy appliances sought after by the "aspirational buyer"
Sad

Cool. I just sold my M635CSi last year after 10 years of awesomeness. I put about 30k miles on it and loved every one. Finally sold due to my need to reduce the fleet.

We'll completely redid the brakes and front suspension..replaced all belts, thermostat and other silly associated parts, completely serviced her and the replaced the rear dog bone links..and fitted a nice set of deep dish BBS wheels..thinking about lowering it an inch or so.. Looks much better now..

------ Follow up post added October 14th, 2014 06:17 PM ------

Just got in a brand new black carpet for it..will strip the interior out and fix a seat cable or motor or two and may redye the interior, then it can finish being detailed and I'll drive her and enjoy..might take a road trip up into the Georgia mountains with the wife...that'd be cool...

And they were in a 7 series, not a 635csi.

So I decided to go ahead and replace the original faded carpet and redo the interior colouring.. Removed the complete interior and replaced the carpet with black and redid all the interior trim in the beige..

Repaired the seat drive cables for the back rest and made sure all seat adjustment motors work.. Found the drivers seat frame had a crack in it so I removed the leather and repaired the frame.. Reassembled all and it's lovely..
