It was a factory option, there is a photo on the rover connection site. The first defender I drove had one in the back, it was a nice addition.

Looks like they're two different pieces to me. The probably bolted the gun case to the drawer system they fabricated.

That box looks more like a gun safe than the box that Land Rover offers. Different locking mechanism, larger, no handle except in the drawer, etc. Perhaps its fire proof!

Blaser.....mmmmmm. Beautiful guns, but always been leery of the straight pull bolt. Can't imagine that being too good for your health if the safety collet decided to give.
