Birthday Present

Thought I'd share some pics of what my brother did for my birthday last week. He had this guy who owns a mobile car detailing business come out and spend all day going over, inside and out, my rover. It looks phenomenal! Apparently he washed, clay barred, then polished, waxed, and sealed the paint. He treated the interior trim with several things and even steam cleaned the seats!

If anyone is interested, the company's name is "Going Green Detailing Machine." I give the guy my highest recommendation. My brother found the guy on the BMW web forum he frequents. So he specializes in European cars, but had never done a rover before. I think he really got a kick out of it.

Go Wolfpack!

Looks great Mike. What a great b-day present.

Happy Birthday Mike,

The truck looks great! Hopefully this will not keep you from Uwharrie in April! :-)

Haha... you should have seen the look on the guy's face after he spent all day detailing it and then I told him it looked so good that I wanted to go to Uwharrie to take it off roading.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It really was a great birthday present. My fiancee was actually a little hesitant to give my brother access to the rover since I have told her that a few scrapes and dings are really just battle scars. She wasn't sure if I'd like it all dressed up.

Scott, I am determined to make it to Uwharrie in the Spring... I am going to go crazy if I have to miss another event.

That's looks great. Can you PM his contact info. I love your black defender.

Do you know who has the Black ST with the 20" wheels that is often on Glenwood?

Your truck looks spit shined and squared away! Nice while it lasts.

The truck looks good.. I have to say I'm not a fan of the pinstriping though. A great detailer really works magic; i don't have much experience with cleaning up the d90 (part of the appeal for me) but when I had a CLK, I used to get it done pretty frequently.

Phil, since it was a birthday present I'm not positive how much he charged for everything. I think it was in the ball park of 200-250.
