Thumbs up BIG Thank you to Trevor Griffiths (Roverlab)

I just wanted to thank Trevor for helping me out with my truck. Long story short, if you ever need assistance with your truck and you are anywhere near Elizabethtown PA, look him up.

I broke down in my '94 D90 on a Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago at Raush Creek and thought I was SOL being over 3 hours from home. I worriedly left it there and left Trevor a message seeing if he could help. Trevor is a short tow away from there so AAA covered it (using someone Trevor recommended), and at the very least it was at a safe place instead of sitting alone at Rausch Creek to get stuff stolen off of it. But he was also able to resolve the issue for me so I could drive it home at a later date, making the whole event rather painless.

In my case the problem turned out to be simply bad relays, but he went out of his way to help me. I know of his work from several others and it's first class. I also got to look at his shop and he has an awesome setup! He's equally familiar with the old and the new as well.

Anyway, thanks again Trevor, you saved my bacon and I owe you!

"In my case the problem turned out to be simply bad relays,"

The silver ones? I thought you tried swapping in spares?

PS x2 on Trevor being a good dude. I have know him though R.O.V.E.R.S. for nearly a decade and he is a nice guy and knows his stuff.

Trevor is a stand up guy. Knows his trucks and knows good people. I wouldn't hesitate to leave my truck with anyone on the ROVERS.org board. us Eastcoast people aren't as bad as we look.

My "spare" silver relay had been put into duty on my ARB not too long ago so I thought it was good. It only takes one bad one to break the system. But yes my bad. I'll keep 2 new ones in the tuffy from now on I swear.

Yeah I should have mentioned he's an incredibly nice guy too - whether doing business with him or otherwise.

And/or main relay. Both are replaced now and I have not interest in testing the old ones

Thanks for the kind words! I do appreciate that very much and look forward to seeing all of you on the trails (and if need be, in the shop!) soon!

Yup, needed more scrap metal to pile up behind the chicken coop. I did manage to get rid of, I mean "dispose of with a recycler", 40 tires that had about 30 gallons of nasty water in them. Thank goodness for the shop -vac...

Henry is doing well, he now has an LT-230 transfer case and new tires. Soon to have a new heater motor (finally). Drove him over 700 miles this weekend without a miss.
