More info.

#19 is here under the knife now. 90K plus miles, getting some service work done. Resides on an island in Maine
#161 we just did a bunch of work to and it is in a truck on its way to Sun Valley Idaho, 45Kish miles that looked original

There is a NAS 110 in Myers Park or Dilworth that supposedly is a sub 15K mile truck. I have seen it on the road two times and it is PRISTINE, but never seen it anywhere where I could verify the mileage.

What is the deal with the NAS CND 110s. I saw one here at a shop in NJ once and it was exactly like the standard NAS ones but it had a Series III style windscreen. I think it was CND #2 or 3 IT was in rough shape about 5 yrs ago when I saw it..

There was apparently a CND one that went through LR Parsippany a few weeks ago... the service guy i was talking to couldn't remember the number, only said 'it said X of 25' on it. He said it was in great condition though.

Randy,

You are correct. The Candian ones have the series windscreen (heated).

We have 2 CDN (NAS) 110s on the lot today. I just looked at CDN #10 and the heated windscreen in it is the same as all the other NAS 110s here. Only big difference I see is KPH speedo.

What is supposed to be different??
This windscreen sure wouldn't fit a Series truck.

Years ago there was a customer that had a shop (not us) put a 109 tropical top on a CDN 110. To use the 109 trop top they had to install a SIII windscreen frame. That truck was a hack-up though. It didn't come from the factory that way. I saw the truck before and after the work.

Mike, nice to see that fleet no longer sitting in the grass! You ever get passersby oogling at the chain link fence?

Yup, tar is MUCH better, you get to see the leaks more!!

Luckily we are now at the end of a dead end road in an industrial park with security and such, so there are a lot fewer "drive-by" ooglers.
The barbed wire keeps people out a little better than our rope used to at the old place.

Bingo. Man that is an ugly 110.
I still recall the day when the guy called.
The guy called us to have us do it. I explained what it would take to do it right and just told him that we should add rear AC instead. He only wanted it done to make the inside cooler (tropical roof vents). I also wanted to form the 109 roof to the correct 110 windscreen, but in the end he said he didn't want to pay that much he just wanted it "bolted on", so he had a shop in Canada do it if I recall, because a few months later a shop from Canada called and asked advice on how to do it.
I can't quite remember if the truck was rolled, but I think it was... (not sure on that) but I think that was why the whole roof thing came up, due to the accident. Not sure about that though.

Sorry Ron, that pos is not a stock Canadian 110.

Follow-up Post:

That thing has 109 rear roof sides too, so that would make me think it was a roll over repair.

Maybe that was the one that was sitting by my house in NJ. s that a CN truck? IF so, I would bet that is it. IT was in sorry shape when I saw it last. Lots of capping rust and under the doors.

Mike, i guess that the CN trucks came with standard Defender style windscreens then?
