Nahh, I've known Kris for awhile now; just not real active on the forum. He posted his 110 here at my behest.

the worst thing about it is that he owns over 1 million acres- the 110's don't even leave his property. He could legally import a 2008 110 for his private use so long as it never went onto public roads!!!!!!! yet he has 2 road legal 110's

I have 412/500 since 2001 - now in North Carolina, and it is still a trail vehicle as the maker intended...

Rovertym Defender bumper prototype, custom interior racking, sliders, cat guards, NRP exhaust and y-pipe, southdown underbody protection, dual shocks each corner, ARB locker, GBR HD axle shafts, Ashcroft R-380, RPI Stage III 4.6 V8 @ 275hp.

I wrote an article that was published about my rollover in it, and it was also featured in a Discovery Channel special's Death Valley segment.

Just turned 110,000 miles.

Jon

Hey Jon - If you were at Uwharrie in 07 camping back where Bill Burke was giving classes then I met you there - glad to see you've dropped by the board. If you'll PM me your email I'll put that in the reg too.

I came over and checked out your truck on Saturday- with the welder from Rovertym. Very cool rig. He wanted to show me how much better his design was than my Rockware. Have to say I was impressed.

Don't mean to hijack, but just a quick question. Does this mean there might soon actually be real competition for the Rockware (besides non existent SG)?

Glad to see you here. Now I know there's at least 2 NAS 110's in NC. Where are you at?

Almost 70 accounted for at this point. Some more well accounted for than others of course. Hope to have a separate site up for this as soon as possible.

I've seen #57 driving around town - got a chance to look at the number last week when it was parked. IIRC, his tags say "OneTen"

Spotted #394 in Fairfield County, CT. It was kitted out with a tire mounted on the hood and ARB front bumper.

An update-

Of note, number 73 came up for sale on ebay. Thats the truck that got me into this whole mess. I knew I liked Defenders, but I never took them very seriously until I met a guy named Kermit driving a diesel NAS 110 in the parking lot of a liquor store in Kansas City.
