I bought mine from Bill at http://www.tntlr.com/

That may be the one you are thinking of?
Any stories on it?
Seems to be perfect except the left side body pannels...

I am working on buying backwards to #1. But I bet my key would work in it. The same key worked on #23 and #24

Jim,
if you can provide the data you want tracked in an MS Excel file it would be very straight forward to set up a KML with a Google Maps front end. If a photo is available it can be included in the mouse over popup.

The only issue would be vehicles with a current unknown location. Guess they could be staged over the Atlantic.

Actually thinking about it, could have two different screens. One would be Known owners and location.
Second could just be a "Sightings". On the sightings could include a time stamp, so you could track an individual vehicle. Spotted driving down the road, or as it changes owners hands.

If anyone saw it, I did the GM implementation and web site for NORAD Tracks Sanata this year. It is a pretty bit of software to play with.

Pete

Greetings

We just acquired NAS 110 #451. We're planning our shake-down trip with the truck, before a RTW expedition over 18 months. We are lucky to have Peter Sweetser as our go-to guy for expedition planning and vehicle prep recommendations. Paul and Erich at Brit Rover are doing the actual prep work on our truck. A more honest group of folks you won't find anywhere. After owning a number of exotics, its refreshing to work with real enthusiasts on our RTW project.

In early June 2008, Peter is guiding our 2-week overland expedition: Florida> Mexico> Veracruz> Chetumal> Tikal> Guatamala> Belize> etc...

Myself/wife and 2 teenage sons are traveling in our NAS 110, and Peter is taking his Camel Trophy truck, in which he's completed a RTW trip! He's the real deal when it comes to trip planning! His hand-drawn maps are priceless. These should almost be included in the next edition of VDE.

Our 1993 Defender 110, #451/500. Alpine White with Charcoal grey interior. Updated 4.6 litre Rover V8 motor (V8 for sale, email me). Fully Hannibal roof rack with side-awning and roof mounted tent. Front ARB Brush bar with integrated winch capability. 2 inch Suspension lift with aggressive tires, Rock Sliders, and an onboard water storage tank. Substantial audio and built in Garmin Navigation systems. Other extras include Secondary Air Conditioning and an ARB Refrigerator/ Freezer. Fully rebuilt and restored to handle any adverse condition or terrain.

Jim, just FYI #69 is coming into the shop today. Getting put back to "stockish" and will reside on Nantucket. 78K miles that look to be original. Its a 3.9 automatic that we are sorting out the automatic install on.

Cool, thanks, here's a list with some recent updates.

Incidentally, Mike, did you say Chrispy was #64? My research indicates that #64 just had someone renew its registration in Colorado in Jan - seems odd. Is you VIN 918058?

I don't know the number really. I thought it was 64 but I never really looked. I took the truck apart and the rear number panel is in a box somewhere. I'll try to find the panel to confirm. Maybe it was 46... I'll lay my hands on it and let you know.

Follow-up Post:

Also,
#1 is in Indiana with a collector customer of ours.

No rush of course, I just thought you would want to know if someone was running around with your truck in Colorado

I'd love to see anyone drive my truck in its current condition.

What kind of premium do you think goes with having #1?

Huge.

Look at Shelby products as an example. #1 of the GT-H Mustang conv. sold for like $250K.
Any other numbers of the 500 limited GT-Hs sell for 50-65K, no where near the #1 badge.

Then add in low miles (#1 NAS 110 still has super low miles) and that is one pricey truck for a collector.

The overcooked 110 is #61
Will someday rebuilt and fully galvanized with a 300 Tdi
After I finish the Amphicar and the 90, so I guess that means when I'm about 60!
