He painted a big "B" on the doors, apparently his ranch's logo. I asked him if he wanted to sell it and he said that, no, he wasn't going to sell it and in fact, he's looking for a second 110 to add to his collection. So, sadly, another 110 will get a hideous $500 paint job and spend the rest of it's life rusting away on a hunting ranch. I asked the owner if he was in the registry but he'd never heard of d-90.com.

Sorry for the crappy iPhone photos; it's all that I had.
This the one you are talking about? Different state and color

#276/500 in Anaheim, California

I got this 110 March of 2008. It came from a NJ dealership with 126,800 miles. It came all stock with nothing on it. Since then I slowly added stuff to it. Had the interior re-done and just a few months ago converted it into an automatic and 4.6 engine. i also added sound proofing material when the interior was being done so it almost drives like an SUV but not so, it's still a Defender. have not done anything to the paint. but someday i will have it repainted. maybe someday an ECR paint job and A/C upgrade.
It now has 135,600 miles and 1,500 miles since the trans and engine conversion.

Francis

contact Gerry at oc-rovers.com and ask him about interior work of the d110. the Neil McCauley(hahahaha) seat covers are made by smitty built. 4wheelparts sells them. the sound proofing material i got it at b-quite.com. i installed the b-quite on the flooring and ceiling then the carpet was installed.

Saw #177 today in Chatham,ma. Has PA. tags and looks pretty nice, though the rear crossmember has some holes in it. Showing 72k, snorkel, under bumper winch,255/85 BFG M/T.

Looks well cared for, but the owner must not be too enamored with it. He left the keys in the ignition while he was playing golf. Wish he wouldn't tempt me like that. Just saw it again right out front of a restaurant I was exiting. I'll take pics if I see it tomorrow.
