I don't know if this truck is LRNA9 or 9/500. LRNA9's history ends in Michigan in 02, and 9/500 was registered in SC in 07.

Oh an, you just made my day!!!!!!!!!
We had that truck at the shop and the guy who owned it wanted a new frame. Once we went over the truck we told him it needed way more than just a frame and that it was going to cost some real money to do what he wanted. He told us we were full of it and some dealership was going to do it all for next to nothing. Now I see he spent the 40K. I love it... I guess he didn't get off cheap afterall.
I'll post the pre-work pictures and the data I have when I get back to the shop. That truck was seriously beat to shite.
It is 9/500, not LRNA 9

No, I don't have 364 - do you have more info about it?

And the black one doesn't do me any good, its not NAS - maybe the feds would like it for their registry?

That was a joke, lets not start the import debate here!

Actually, it would be useful to know if they are using a NAS VIN for the black truck, but I pretty much doubt it, its probably just listed as a 93 for the purposes of the listing.

And you'd think 40k would have bought him some fender flares...

You're probably correct, it's most likely not a NAS '93. If it somehow is, we'd all be interested in hearing more. I personally would not make such a significant claim <"probably the best Defender 110 in the country"> without spending some time on a site like this one. Let's see what he says on the VIN.

Imported 1998. Never mind.

Looks like it got used though!

Re #269, do they really get anything close to their asking price, or is it the kind of deal where they end up selling ofr 60% of the asking price so the buyer feels good about it?

Too many pictures to post. You should have seen the rust!
At least it has a new frame now, but I bet it still needs more help in other areas.

The second shot of it was my favorite... it leaving ECR!!

$40k to put that anywhere near normal sounds like a steal! There wasn't much left un-destroyed when the PO was finished with it.

I just ran into LRNA #6 at Fort Bragg. It's a recent purchase by the commander of the Golden Knights. Ironically, my 110 was parked 1 mile down the road. 2 110's on Fort Bragg is not common. Looks to be in pretty good shape. I'll post some pics. Mantec snorkel on it too.
