This part confuses me. As it gives the impression you know each other.

Mark Daniel never delivered parts I purchased

So as he was moving his whole business and house he paid to have a company deliver all parts and truck to a shipper and passed on your details. He tried to find parts for you even visited shipping yard. You have been very rude to him and had threaten him so he stopped communicating with you. That's the basics as I have been told. like I've stated before I've bought 20+ Rovers from him and not had the slightest problem.
Actually, the facts are that he told my July 28th that he was moving and needed everything shipped by the second week of September. I was fully paid up except when I agreed to purchased a BULK of what he never delivered in August, also paid up fully and all well before his deadline. I never agreed to his cousin Matthew Moore to do the shipping and it was Marks responsibility in the first place. As for being rude, forgive me, after 2 weeks of being nice and telling him to go to Heritage Vehicle Sales and look around, and he said it wasn't his responsibility, I may have gotten a little tee'd off. But who wouldn't when you're being ripped off and he claims he won't do anything about it.

Glad you've been protected, but Ive had several private messages all claiming the same thing. So everyone else, just do business in person with him if you plan to do so..... and if you have a new pair of rear seats, a new LHD Bulkhead, rear body, 5 awesome tires and rims, interior trim ..... that don't seem original, give me a buzz.

All matters with Mark Daniel are resolved

For all that read this. I met with Mark Daniel personally in the Uk and all matters were mutually settled. Unfortunately, neither of us know what happened to the parts that were never shipped. I believe that he always had the best intentions. But Mark delivered on a mutually agreed resolution to the matter and since then he has delivered a shipment as agreed.
I tried reaching out to the moderators here some time ago to delete this thread with no response, but if they still can, please delete the matter. Otherwise, I want everyone to know that they made good on matters.

Why? The forum should keep this thread open for this very reason.

Glad it worked out. I hope I helped. Mark had done good by me for many years not and going on 30+ Rovers.

Agreed. He got it resolved, but he apparently had to travel from Round Rock (TX?) to the UK to do so. No bueno.

Meeting Mark in Person

While you have valid points. Meeting him in person and seeing his new shop made all the difference for me. He has a huge array of well appointed Defenders. He drove me around and we had a good resolution.
With all of the news of Land Rovers being stolen all over the UK, I don't doubt that all of us were targeted somewhere.
Despite whatever happened with this all being stolen somewhere along the line, Mark stepped up.
Was it a major hassle and were there major lapses in communication? Yes, but being that I've met him in person and the manner in which they took care of it, I would buy from him again, and it's worth everyone else knowing that.

Well he did not mention whether the reason for travel was specifically to resolve the issue or he just happened to be in the UK for other reasons.

While I have never done business with this particular shop, I have found myself traveling to resolve issues with others. It depends on how much money you are in a project for.

I think its great the OP and Mark resolved the problem, truly. (rare it does)

But....I think its good to keep threads like this open so others can learn of the challenges with buying/selling trucks in another country. It is riskier than 98% of people realize.

should 100% stay open but maybe adjust title or pin the resolution to the top.

Glad this thread is still open. I'm about to buy a truck from Mark and have him complete a modest restoration on it and I was starting to get worried until I got to the end of the thread. Mark has been great to work with thus far in the planning phase of my build.

When you deal with a Piece of Shit of Human waste, screw the diplomacy, the most rewarding situation if someone screws you over, is pay them a visit. and I assure you, that if you do not prevail in getting your money back, the satisfaction of cracking their lip open may be of equal reward.
