Best way to search craigslist nationwide?

Hey guys,
I see a lot of CL postings in the classified forums that never make it to autotrader/cars.com. Do you guys just search CL locally and link to it or is there a way to search for D90s on CL nationwide? Just seems like if you want a truck in the $25K range, CL is the only way to go.

The Craigs pro app is ok. You could go and select every city to search in.
It would take some time to select all those cities, but if you are specific in your search it wouldn't return too many bogus results.
Shouldn't be bad on the iPad as long as the search is specific. If it's too broad you will crash the app.

But say I look in 6 cities for 1982 Chevy diesel it's pretty quick and no issues since not a lot of hits.

We have some good computer people on the list here, maybe they can chime in on a better answer.

Pete

This probably isn't the best way, but I always just type into Google what I am searching for and then add site:craigslist.org at the end.

You could also try setting up your own RSS feeds if people still do that.

I just found searchtempest.com this week and was already using Dailylister.com

Give Dailylister a try it seems to run faster for me.

What is odd about that.... is that it is pulling up adds in my area that are current, but they don't even show up on the actual craig's list searches I do.....?
