Not the place in the ad.

If you're in a hurry, go Bojangles.

In the Carolinas, people are frickin' silly crazy for Bojangles. Not a biscuit lover myself, but I'm not a native Southerner either.

To me biscuits are a lot about how quickly you get them once out of the oven. They tend to get dry and hard as they cool, most places microwave em to revive.
The place we grab breakfast on Harkers Island, NC the biscuit usually pretty much crumbles when you pick it up, but that's straight from the oven.

The closest Bojangles to you would probably be in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Biscuitville is my default when I'm home in NC... but some of the bbq places make better ones.

I've searched for a long time to find a great biscuit recipe and this is it..... Deep South Dish: The Secrets to the Best Ever, Perfect Southern Buttermilk Biscuits

Now a different question

Asked for my favorite biscuit place? If you ever find yourself in Chapel Hill - try Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen. Just the place.

I think the gym that Bill Larson goes to sells biscuits and gravy at the snack shack.

I had never loved/liked biscuits, except my mom and my grandmother's.

The Biscuitville in Roxboro, North Carolina makes amazing biscuits.

After a ten year break, I had them again two weeks ago. they were some tasty pucks.

That's exactly where my mind went to, David! I've waited in line there many times (almost overheated the 90 in fact!).

Ping me and we'll grab a beer when you're in town. I'm still new to town so couldn't tell you the best biscuit place but there's plenty of options.

Bojangles is my favorite of the fast food chains

Hands down the best place. Bojangles closed up shop in Chapel Hill because of them.
