Best Defender Custom work in the US?

I know this is a subjective question, but who does the best work in the US regarding custom interiors, dashboards, upholstery, etc?

Looking for somewhere to send my new D90 for an overhaul...

No, going to add some newer features (stereo, dash, etc). Already has leather seats in the front, will add jump seats to the back w leather... Nothing too fancy, just going to bring it a little more current.

There isn't really anything you can't do yourself, unless you're trying to make it look like a luxury vehicle. You may be better off selling it and buying a G-Wagen.

G-Wagen aside, it is all pretty much plug and play. Exmoor kits, although heartily marked up once they get to the US ahore, are fantastic. From covers, parts, to complete seating options. Cubby boxes too. And if you do not have time/inclination, pretty much any interior/upholstery shop can do it.

Customizing a dash on an NAS? Heretic! Lol. TD5 dash conversion. Unless you are looking for leather, ICON style. If so, go get a G-wagen.

Problem is when I get a wrench/screwdriver/etc in my hand, I end up screwing up more stuff than actually fix! That is why I would like a shop to do it next spring. I don't mind paying for the labor if it is done nice.

And no (1), I don't want it to be a "luxury vehicle", just some updates.

And no (2), I don't want a G wagon, I want a Defender which is why I am purchasing another one.

Its the perfect opportunity to improve your skills. To put this in perspective, even Barry can turn a wrench.
