Best Battery minders?

Anyone have opinions/experience they can share? Particularly as it relates to AGM batteries. Just had to replace a Sears platinum AGM (and of course they don't carry the platinum anymore so had to settle for a gold) after only 3 years and was told that Battery Tender brand shortens the life of the battery because the float is not high enough.

I've been using a BatteryMINDER for years on a Optima Yellow top and a Sear Diehard Platinum AGM. Back when I bought them there were separate model #'s for lead and AGM batteries. Looks like there's only one now. I will check the model # of what I have tonight and report back.

Looks like this is what you want for an AGM battery.

For onboard, I've been happy with the Noco marine units. https://no.co/products/charging/onboard My batteries have always been AGMs and I've been getting around 12 years out of them.
