Bergen County Service

Hi

I did a search but didnt see anything.

Anyone have advice on a place for service for a 1997 Defender 90 in Bergen County, NJ? I need new shocks. I know there is Prestige Land Rover in Paramus, but please let me know if I should steer clear or if there are better alternatives.

Thanks guys

Great, how much do you charge for new shocks?

I took the cover off from inside the engine bay. The bushing or something gave out on the passenger side, and it's rattling around.

Tom suggested a guy he knows that works on the side at his place. Please name your favorite brand of beer and shock.

I love this site.

I can do it for you at Toms. Definitely get #7, 8, and 9 as they will almost certainly be rusty.

This is the front passenger side. The front driver side is in similar condition.

That doesn't look bad at all, but I would still order the ring and bolts. You never know what is going to break and its better to just have it on hand. You can always return it if you don't need it.

true but if they break coming off he'll need a new one and they aren't expensive.

I just replaced the springs and shocks in my 1985 110. You don't have to remove the shock tower. I did it after watching the video.

Hi

The Bilstein shocks with #7, 8, 9 are being delivered today. Thanks to Zack at Rovers North.

Let me know when you guys are available in the coming weeks. I will obviously work around your schedule.

JSBriggs, the top of the tower was not deformed. I took a couple of shots but they are pretty poorly focused. I just noticed a rattle a few weeks ago. I drove that thing about 500 miles last year.

Thanks
