Bellargio Land Rover

Hi All,

Just thought i would see what people think of the Bellargio land rover as one is just come up on ebay.
Have a look at:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6296

I think the company build them using enough parts to make it a 1970 so it can be expored to you guy in the states.

What is it with these Right Said Fred custom jobs? Is there some big demand for LR's in Atlantic City. Can't you just hear the party-people music blaring and see the heads bobbing in unison while they drive up and down looking for skank.

They did not like what we thought about one of their Defenders and started sending e-mails to people on the forum.

Total Crap. What a waste of a perfectly good series rover. The only place I can see that POS is with a pimp from the hood behind the wheel. I still love Bellargio's e-bay adverts.

EwS

Oh and here is the real definition of "bespoke" or more commonly known as bespeak.

be新peak ( P ) Pronunciation Key (b-spk)
tr.v. be新poke, (-spk) be新po搔en, (-spkn) or be新poke be新peak搏ng, be新peaks
To be or give a sign of; indicate. See Synonyms at indicate.

To engage, hire, or order in advance. See Synonyms at book.
To request: bespeak a favor.
To foretell; portend: fearful weapons that bespeak great loss of life.
Archaic. To speak to; address.

"power steering is weighted to suit the ferrari momo steering wheel so 3 point turns are not a problem, the steering is as light as ordinary suv so cark parking is no effort"

What the hell is carking? Perhaps a new adjective to describe Bellargio's weak attempt at reslling old series trucks as belargio branded crap.

"usd is not too strong at present against the ukp so we will be offering free shipping to port as a gesture of these hard times"

What the F@#K is this guy talking about? How is the weak dollar indicative of the US economy? God ILMAO everytime one of those stupid-ass cars pops up on ebay. And for that kind of cash, you could buy a real 110 - and fully restore it to your satisfaction.

We should replace Bling Bling/Fugly with bellargio. As in that Hummer-fied 90 was soooo bellargio.

EwS

Follow-up Post:

If you really want a good laugh, check out their site. What total crap. I love how the claims about the mastery over rover engines, suspensions, et al. when all they are doing is intalling after-market parts available to anyone with the gumption to buy and install them. I love those wheels though. Let's take the best 4x4xfar and put wheels on it that hinder any off road prowess it previously had.

Oh and the videos are hillarious. So your NAS D-90 copycat can drive! Is that the point? I mean what were they trying to demonstrate? For under a minute you 80k POS will drive? My D-90 rolls just as fast.

And lastly, a face to the previous ranting! Looks like somone took the short bus to school and has been bitter ever since.

I like the interior. However, I hate the exterior with all that chrome crap they got on it. Yet, to much $$ not much taste

Mike, did you not see the Souza's setup this weekend? That rig and trailer were sweet. Definite lap of luxury. But i think you would miss that open top, in the elements feeling...

My favorite is how the exhaust ports through the chrome 'mudflap'. You'll rip that sucker to shreds on the first speedbump you hit.

Try changing the radio station while driving. You would need a stick to reach it in front of the passenger seat
