What are the parameters? Do engine modifications count or all original equipment? if you really want to impress it should be original!! IMO.

Does that include head gaskets being original?

I think original engine would be the parameters. Maybe a replacement V8. Head gaskets can be replaced etc.

I know JimC had 200k plus on his tdi converted 95 NAS as of a while back.

And I think Doug is on his third engine or something . But that is still impressive at 268k!

I am kind of stuck at 273k. Original engine, only replaced head gaskets once. Used to be a daily driver but now I switch between three cars so only drive it about once a week. It will take me while to get to 300k.

I was about 235k on the 90 when it got parked three years ago. That's 135 on the original v8 and 100k on the 300tdi after the swap. It will be nice to start putting miles on it again. Don't know when that will be though...

I hit 118 last weekend. It's a daily driver with no check engine lights or speedo issues. All original, even rotors, except water pump/hoses, brake pads and oil cooler lines. I change filters and fluilds religiously. I dont use synthetics but I do use a Lucas fuel conditioner.

165K in the Defender. Heads were done in 2009. Rebuilt R380 two years ago. 96 Disco just rolled over 163K. I try to split time driving them. Mostly driving the Disco in the winter.
