Bay Area - need space to work & park

You never know what is available until you ask, so here goes.

I recently started working at SFO and have a tiny apartment in San Bruno with on street parking. Now I have 2 defenders, a 90 and a 110. But no suitable place to work on them (working underneath a truck parked on the street? Asking for disaster, IMHO.) I'd also like to find a place to park one for a few weeks at a time.

Does anyone have some shop or yard space I can use for some small projects? Things like oil change, fix swivel leaks, chase rattles, etc. Mostly a few hours at a time but I assume a clutch change will take 2 days. Yes, I am willing to pay (cash or exchanged labor?)

A place to park off street for a week or two at a time would be helpful. Again, willing to pay.

Ideas? Suggestions? Gratuitous insults?

Thanks,

Mike

A little far for parking, but I'll plan to stop and say hello. I'm getting settled in and hope to start interacting with other Rover people in the area. I also joined NCLRC.

Thanks,

Mike

I'll talk to my wife (BIG LR enthusiast.) I think we already have plans.

Mendo: It is the last full weekend in April so the 21-25ish

There is a fairly active Email list. It is mostly series guys, but there are a fair amount of coilers as well.

Some various info.
Land Rover FAQ - Vehicle Identification - Dormobiles - Adventures and Club Meets - Mendo Meet
Mendo_Recce Email list (aka the Lazy Buggers)
Directions to Cedar Camp

Mike- I can't help with parking (if I ever get my garage built I can) but if you need a place to wrench on the weekend, I'm up in Mill Valley. It's not covered but I have driveway space and tools.

Great! I'm Okay with working outside if the weather isn't bad. Very generous to offer tools, I carry most of what I need. Will let you know when I can schedule with you.

Thanks,

Mike

I'm in Livermore and have a side yard with space and tools/air compressor. Just let me know.
