Barrett-Jackson

Been watching BJ every night this week. They had a 67 Land Cruiser go across the block and fetch quite a bit. Can't recall exact number but it was around 70K. Restored to original and it was very nice. I've only ever seen 1 Defender and that was a yellow 94 that belonged to Don Johnson form Miami Vice fame. I'd love to see a ECR 110 go across the block.

This 110 ran through back a few years ago.

Do you know what it sold for? 2007 prices where higher than what I've seen this year?

Keep us posted when it goes across the block. I'm guessing it's registered?

Yep...2002 auto, wisconsin plates and is in great shape. The owner says it's EPA and DOT legal. Barrett Jackson has very stringent rules about whether or not the vehicle is collector item or street legal and makes the seller prove it before they put it up for auction

Are you bidding on it? I wonder if woodside will offer financing seeing as they are the BJ preferred lender.

I think it went for a little over 120K. They talked on air about it for 20 minutes before the bidding started. It was the most I've seen them discuss a non charity car.

pics really don't do it justice...

It's in really good shape and I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the cash.

The ambulance is really interesting, It went for $120k and this will be debated 'till the cows come home on whether or not it was actual one...

Actually that is ghetto. It is some home made console.

In your eye's maybe. It's well done, may not be factory, but it's functionally clean and works well with in the interior.

It's home made, in my eyes if the owner couldnt take the time to make the conversion look factory it is a red flag for how the install was done. Maybe in a cheaper truck it wouldn't matter but in a truck that I am sure will go for 60k at least it should be done right.

This truck is in excellent condition, well cared for and was well maintained. It was at a local Land Rover shop (Falconworks) in Tucson and was given a complete inspection and they found no issues.

I would hate to see what you'd have to say about some of the cars going for 100k with home-made parts coming thru the auction. It's not like it's a 1969 Mustang...

I'd be surprised if it goes for more than 30k...
