So I just bought "Thumper." I've had Bambi for a year, but hadn't named her until now. It just seemed right! ;-)

Ironically, Thumper is still on fully functional eas, while Bambi sits on 2"+ OME. Oh well.

Both are '95 LWB's. Yeah, I'm a softy! Bambi has run about a bit with about 250k, but she's now rebuilt, dialed in, and just getting better. Shockingly clean, rust free Cali truck.

Thumper just got going at 89k (140k km's) but needs a little work, but that's what winter is for! She was a bit of a barn find. Well, actually in the shed next to a barn! Don't ask what I paid, but let's just say that I didn't bargain with him! Barely driven for the last few years, but that's part of its problem. She runs, but is rough at idle and ticks a bit. Might be the fuel as I've only driven it a couple miles. Trailered home, flushed fuel, changed oil, and mitigated the minimal rust. Strangely, rust was present only under the front door sills and the the rear door jam welds. Still repairable. Now where to begin?

I would have thought Salt and Pepper would have been good names.
But then what would I know. I named my birds Ozzy and Harriet.

Ha! That's really good! I actually hadn't thought of that. Too late? ;-)

Nah, I'm a Bond man and immediately thought:

I used to be a big Bond fan. Somehow it gradually lost its appeal as they kept replacing them.

No one but no one can be Bond except Sean Connery. Lazenby was okay but a little lack luster. Moore was good but no Connery. Dalton was good. Brosnan and Craig era had too much action for me. And I think that's why Brosnan left.
