Badger GKI vs GKII

I bought my first Badger top GKI over 10 years ago. It was a breakthrough moment to have a great roof that performed well. Due to use and abuse the top needs some major repairs and considering its age(and the fact I don't have a garage and its my daily driver(173,000 miles) I am considering a new top.

Chris had suggested I go with a GKII because it would be versatile since it rolls up to become a surrey top and there are no zippers on the windows.

Any opinions on which top you like more?

1 I prefer, but I don't take windows out or anything so maybe others feel differently.

My opinion: Prefer the larger windows (visibility) of the Badger I, but in every other way- the Badger II is superior.

I've had both. Much prefer the II. Doubles as a surrey; big plus for me. Taking out and storing the windows in the truck is a pain in the ass with the I vs. 10 seconds to roll them up in a II and getting more air flow.
