I have a herniated disc according to my MRI. The doc said I am young enough and it isnt bad enough that I should get surgery. I am doing celebrex for two weeks with no gym or PT. IF that doesnt make it feel better I have to have an epidural

Where is the herniation? I take celebrex regularly, but the shots will do wonders on the inflamation. I also did the oral steroids. Made me swell up like jabba the hut...

Sorry to hear it. Regular exercise like swimming, walking, biking, eliptical helps.

I go for an MRI on Monday. I was in agony all last weekend and through the beginning of the week.
On the suggestion of a bunch of people I bought an inversion table and can't believe the results. A few times a week hanging (not totally upside down) and my back feels incredible. Highly recommended.

The worst was when the doc did the test to check for weakness in leg. I assumed it was fine until he did a few resistance tests. I am noticeably weaker in the right leg, and foot with the added bonus of less reflexes.

Feels like my calf has a knot in it as does my ass. hating it
