Congratulations Mom and Dad!!!!! Welcome to the world Elliot, you must have good parents, since your father drives a Defender.

Congratulations from a fellow recent dad (Feb 3rd)

Our first daughter was born at 32 weeks at 2 lbs 12 oz and stayed in the NICU for almost 2 months.
Today she is 3 1/2 and is doing great.
The advances in medicine and the quality of doctors today is incredible.
Have trust in them and their combined knowledge and skill and always keep a positive outlook. Everything will turn out well.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

Gustavo,
I'll try to post Picts soon in a different thread. I've been using my iPhone and not easy to attach Picts easily.

You still don't have Forum Runner? I have that pic you sent me, but I'm definitely not posting it for you...especially after you promised he'd be born on my bday! Hope to see you guys soon!

Keeping all three of you in my thoughts and prayers, he looks fantastic for his condition and I pray that once the fluid is drained his brain will be unaffected. I have been the surgery, NICU route and it can be daunting, hang in there, and hug each other.

Son of a shunt!

Thanks for all of your kind thoughts and prayers! So my son Elliot, had to go in for emergency brain surgery on Monday, if you are interested, here is a link to the full write-up with pics. This will be his second brain surgery sense he was born, he has taken a few years off of our lives!

Hope all goes smooth as he recovers Your son looks like he is full of life. Our twins were born about the same time as your son, and we, too, spent several weeks in NICU. Then we went back to the hospital as both got RSV the month following their release. Seems we couldn't escape fold out sofa beds for very long. Glad to see the surgery went well and he is back home.

WOW Byron!

I had not seen this thread!

That is a cute boy you have there, he will be in our thoughts and prayers.
I guess we talked on the phone right before and all this went crazy again right about the time you loaded the series headed down here to Bama. Take care and rest when you can. Kids are super tough and resilient.

and D-90 folks, Be sure to keep this family in your prayers!
