Baby beaten by Babysitter, no charges filed due to "loophole" - Write to change this!

Hello all,
I've been writing to several state senators and legislators about this terrible story, please feel free to write in as well asking for them to do something about this oversight in the Oregon law.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
-Danny

What a great country we live in. The "Bill of Rights" gives the criminal more rights than the victim.

You do know the bill of rights carries the 2nd amendment?

Or is it just certain amendments you selectively hold as more important than others.

Perhaps you mean some other document ...

Ironically, some who have exercised there 2nd Amendment rights have suddenly found themselves defendants in civil and sometimes criminal cases. I spent some time in law enforcement to see some stupid stuff happen. Like the business owner who camps in his business with 12 gauge to thwart break-ins. Subject breaks in, gets shot. Initially gets arrested then let go. Then business owner gets charged and suspect files civil case. (Actual event that took place)

I might be wrong but the complaint is not vs the bill of rights but rather a state level law?

Fuck the system.
If i was the father of this child, i would of killed the babysitter myself.. break her neck.
I am guessing they didnt have any cameras to record the incident.
What can we do Danny, send emails to these people who only sit on theirs butts, Judiciary Committee?

The system today is without checks and balances.
I read that the babysitter was a guy...
In my "day" the dad would have kicked the babysitter's ass so bad he would be 10 times more black and blue than the toddler.
Then if the babysitter reported it to the police, they would have laughed in his face or possibly kicked his ass a second time because he is a piece of trash for hurting a defenseless child.

That's the way it worked in the 50s and 60s when I grew up.

Keep voting in liberal, left wing judges and we will have more of this nonsense in the future.

I would consider Sweden pretty liberal, and spanking your child is illegal there. Maybe we need more liberals.

So by this logic, someone could go beat her into a vegetable state and get off free from the crime because she can't speak back while on life-support in the hospital....
