OOOOh A&P? Good choice, lots of jobs out there for a good A&P. Unfortunately, I took a different track that wasn't as useful so I can't recommend much right now.

Got a copy of plane and pilot? lots of ads in there usually.

Hans: I ahven't yet but will pick one up.
JimC: I'd get booted out of the Army the first day of boot. Probably for laughing at the DIs barking.

A great friend of mine from high school went to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was a pilot and went for his various technical titles...

One thing though, you're going to need to learn how to spell 'technician' (unless you meant something else by technition), if you want to even fathom making it through there.

Embry Riddle has a place in Arizona too (looked at going there), but closer VT has a good Aeronautics department in the Engineering school.

Embry Riddle has campuses all across the country - a good friend of mine graduated from the one in Marietta and is working on the F-22 here at Lockheed. Good school thats highly thought of in the industry.
