Auto transporter from Jacksonville, FL to Raleigh, NC

I am trying to arrange a transporter from Jacksonville, FL to Raleigh, NC.

Anyone have good suggestions?

A couple of the places that have excellent reviews on transportreviews.com have terrible feedback elsewhere. Makes me wonder how accurate that site is?

Appreciate the help.

I've recently used Guy Kemp at GSessories to haul parts from Central Florida to NJ. Great service. (305) 469-8819.

some else suggested uship. might give them a shot, assume it's best to bid around the suggested rates at a minimum to get a reliable shipper?

Keep in mind that Uship charges fees to both you and the shipper. You'll get a better rate if you go directly to the shipper.

Do yourself a favor and use a professional company... I just had an absolute nightmare using some amateur uship hauler to get a 109 from Tulsa to Jacksonville. They ended up breaking down and abandoned the truck in the Memphis ghetto in the middle of the night! Luckily I got a local wrecking yard to go fetch it...Unluckily they snapped an axle towing it with a wrecker.. I tried to save a few bucks and ended up spending a lot more in the long run! Try Barnes Auto Transport. They haul for ECR. 214 676 5333

I'm a uship user. I have shipped maybe 4-5 times with them and it is hit and miss at this point. I still have a credit with them for a job that was a no show. its likely my last time using ship. feedback is just about pointless since not everyone leaves feedback and if the driver/shipper blows your job off altogether you can only cancel, you cant leave negative feedback for jobs that are not completed.

to echo what many of the others have said: go with a real pro shipper like Barnes or someone. I got burned by a semi-pro on Uship.

I can also say from many Tampa-Raleigh drives, it's really not a bad drive. Just drive it!
