Australia Land Rovers

Heading to Australia this summer and so far have only found Toyota rentals for a 5 day excursion. Anyone have any Land Rover knowledge for the Alice Rock area?
Thanks!
Trevor

There is a reason for that.

The Aussies say if you want to go to the outback take a Land Rover, however if you want to come back alive take a land cruiser.

Yeah, the few times I have been down there I haven't seen any for rent. Only a few Defenders out in the wild.

Aint that the truth; plenty of defenders for rent on the Sunshine coast, as well as near the Kakadu national forest in NT.

Enjoy Alice Springs !
