Austin Rover people????

Just got my 110 on the road finally and I can't fathom fitting the soft top on it for the next 7 months straight... so why not just move to Austin!!!! Leaving the benefits of a 7500sq ft shop and hoping to find some other wrench-inclined people to mooch off of (will bring beer of course) in the event something goes awry. Also want to do some camping/exploring while wintering there. So let me know how to get connected!!! Also will be getting some riding in, motoX and the Ducati. Just need to play with the toys a bit...

thanks!

Hi Brent, there is a pretty good Rover crowd here in town, and a suprising amount of Defenders, sadly most of which are not in the club. If you havent checked it out yet, take a look at the Texas Rovers site (texasrovers.org) and say hi in the Austin section. Tony (dillo90 here on this forum) can pretty much be talked into helping out with a number of projects if you wave good beer in front of him.

Hey! I resemble that remark.

Best place to hook up is with us at our monthly meeting like Chris said. Yours would be the second 110 in the chapter. We've got a good crosssection of Rovers from Defenders to LR3s.

I'd like to see the soft top on your 110. I can get some ideas for modifications.
Hope to see you at a meeting.
