Asheville

I am going to Asheville for a week around Christmas. Any of you rover people want to entertain me while I am there? I am going to go to the Land Rover school while I am there but I have no other plans other than to watch Horsey's brother play guitar for pocket change outside the local 7-Eleven.

Nice. I think he may actually be up here that week. I was there a few weeks ago for a short time and had a blast. Didn't have enough time to go to the Land Rover school or anything, though.

Go get some beers at Jack of the Wood and some of the other places while you're there.

I'll be up there visiting my dad and trolling for cute hippie girls. Probably scoping out some shop locations too.

Look up the CROC Club/forum for some local people. They have tons of info on their website for where to ride and what have you.

In regards to the Land Rover school, be sure to do a long enough session so they can take you to the "other" side of the estate. I did it earlier in the year and while fun, we didn't go far from the large hotel. The other side is where most people don't normally get to venture.

I'm headed out of here for a week around Xmas but if we cross paths I'll buy you a beer.

I'll be away from 22-29.

Cheers

So, who have you visited, and which beer is your favorite so far?

Damn that menu looks bomb, I used to cringe when I'd see Southern food being cooked on the food channel but that menu makes it sound better.

If you are a Beer Connoisseur, Bruisin Ales is a real nice beer store in Asheville. They usually have a good selection of harder to find beers.
