Asbury Park Go Go bar

Just saw a great looking silver D-90 with winch parked at the Go Go bar at the Asbury Park circle.
Maybe a dancer? Come on...confess.

Go Go bar? You mean there might be a good reason to set foot in New Jersey?

Guys please don't give up a fellow D-niner , please reframe from such words as go go bar let's stick to a local bar or a popular bar . Hopefully Randy won't get in trouble but he should have invited us .

Personally I only visited the local bars north of 78 and east of 287! You gotta watch out for those South Jersey establishments!

Asbury Park circle IS NOT south jersey. Its called either central jersey or the shore, a more accurate description of the location . I would know since i live 10-15 minutes from that strip club (that's what it is now since it changed from alcohol serving to BYOB). Locals should know what that means.

Further North

Up by the fort is "The Cabaret". Twenty years ago they had great food and the worst dancers in the world.
We used to give them a $ just to move on.

We always called everything south of 78 south jersey! I do miss the days of the juice bar...one of our favorite establishments near the Meadowlands fell victim to the man in the late 90's

Jeff you're from up here?

Gotta love that comment that anything not Northeast Jerz (East of 287, North of 78) is South Jerz.

Hot 22s was where I went when I turned 18.

Only if there are special awards for "most dog hair" and "Most deteriorated paint job". I wouldn't
want to embarrass the old girl.

Yeah I lived in Jersey until about 7 years ago when my then girlfriend got a job offer in DC that brought us down here. Two of my best friends still live there (one in Kearny and the other in Little Egg Harbor) and we always tease the AC buddy that he moved to South Jersey!

I remember Hot 22's and think I went there once. We used to hit the lunch buffet at Lookers by the airport on Saturdays or head to Titilations, Shakers or the Hitching Post...oh wait, it appears I know to much of these establishments!

Haha, hilarious! Back in college we took a virgin to Rachels and gave him a roll of bills the size of a baseball and told him to have fun. One lap dance and he gave the whole roll away. So embarrassing asking for that back!
