I've wheeled there a bunch. More4Less is the place I get a jeep from, theirs tend to be better equipped with good and sometimes upsized tires. If you want to hire a real local look for a guy named Fedor on the high rise beaches hawking boat tours and such. If you ask around you will find him. He takes people out on the side, leading in a beaten old FJ.

Here is a pic of him "Supplementing his Mellow", seriously though he gives a great tour. I have not seen a place that rents 90's.

Yeah, when I went I couldn't find any place that rented 90/110s, just did tours... this was one of the tours I did;

and this was from a different tour company;

The nice thing about our tour, was they let us drive the 110s ourselves... they were 300tdi LHD autobox's ...

rented a jeep as well back in '03. did come up on the defenders at the natural pool. think we had more fun just driving the jeep all over the place. not much signage once you get out there, just look for some semblance of a road/track and head in the general direction you want to go.

Just got back from Aruba, looked up Fedor (saw him driving in his FJ). He took us on a great tour of the island. Saw a bunch of Defenders.... They did not go anywhere near where this guy took us. I would highly recommend going on a tour with this guy.

You can rent a Jeep or a Defender (he knows a guy who rents 90's...) and follow this guy or ride with him. I talked to the Defender tour guys and their company policy does not allow them to go where this guy went. Our tour started where the Jeep Safari guys ended.

Looks like a great time. Those are some ugly paint jobs there. Any pics?
