His reputation is what it is. He earned it. If he sent quality builds over here he would have the reputation of someone who does quality work. But that is not the reputation he has. Spamming the forum with pretty pictures and PR nonsense and threatening the community with law suits and legal action will not fix that reputation. Shipping over quality builds that he stands behind is the surest way to build the reputation he seeks.

I think that we should talk

I view with interest your comments on Arkonik. I have been carefully biding my time on this subject. Perhaps we can talk via email?

Does anyone know anyone at British 4x4 please??? I'd like to speak to them directly. See below, thanks Andy

" I have now put 1200 miles on the old girl, she is everything I expected her to be and all that I expected from Arkonik.

Now that I have driven her gently and broken her in, I don't have any items to report.

I drive my Defender everyday and I'm loving every moment.

The group I deal with here at British 4x4 could not believe how incredible, clean in fit and finish it was, they rebuild some too, although not on the same level as you guys, but they were very impressed.

Overall, a wonderful experience with her...considering ordering another within a couple of months.

Best wishes, Have a great day. "

Andy:

It could be a few operations:

British 4x4 Specialists (in PA, Trevor Griffiths):
Land Rover, Range Rover, Rover Repair | Elizabethtown, PA

British 4x4 Center (in VT, Mike Hopwood):
44 Center €”

British 4x4 Centre (in TX):
Home - British 4x4 Centre

And I think there may even be a place in Florida with a similar name as well. Where is the customer located that wrote the above blurb?

Cheers Jason, i've just received the note from the Client so i'll check with the him on Monday and find out which it is, I hadn't realised there were so many "British 4x4" shops....I just wanted to phone them myself and offer support by return.

Have not seen this white one at the shop, just the black one Martin posted and a light grey one.

Hi Jeff, you are awesome, you have been formidable in standing up for what's important to you and I like you for it. Many people sit on the fence, you shoot straight (maybe not on target always but you certainly shoot straight) the reason for putting this post up was three-fold - the first, for which I make no apology, is to share a positive review and the second is that I am not back to the office till Monday now, when I can contact the Client and ask, but in the meantime I was intrigued if any one knew who the garage was....thirdly - I was also starting to miss you lot all beating me up so it gave me an excuse to post something to get nailed for. I had a long chat with Jason Lavender this week - I understand more than ever just how badly some people on this forum (or their friends) got burned by unscrupulous traders, I understand, as a result of the conversation, better than ever why there is resistance to UK traders on here, i'm also beginning to understand the true depth of loyalty that you all have to Land Rover, its as great as my own, so whether I realised it before, or not, I realise it now. You and me Jeff we had more in common mate than I wanted to admit, determination in standing up for the things that are important to us and love of Land Rover for a start. Have a good weekend mate, all the best Andy
