If you have discovery HD theater, Wheeler Dealer (great show) is doing a Range Rover. Check your listings. It was on this evening, but they replay them all week.

Ron

edit: the guy bought it, drove it to Ed's workshop, and then it would not start

Saw it last night, pretty cool. I really like that show, 'cep for all the fancy words they use!

Good show. It's fun to watch them do all the jobs when you've done them all yourself . I wish they would've described the no start problem. On all three of the classics I've worked on, they all have a finicky connection to the ignition module from the coil.

They blamed the no start on a bad MAF.

Thanks Ron! I love that show too. They did a Porsche 924 not too long ago that they doubled in value. Thing looked like crap before and they did some cosmetic stuff to it and got the rear boot working and the guy changed his asking price from 1k to 2k. Great show!

The 924 was on autotrader. Wheeler Dealer did a very nice job on a 1978 928 porsche. The Lancia episode was also good. This range rover one was light compared to some they do. Edd did a vw bug into a dune buggy that was really involved.

Oh maybe. I just heard him say sometimes a rough start. Who knows. Overall an enjoyable episode.

Make sure you record both the first and second range rover, as it's split in two parts. Also, if you have an English friend, have them come over and translate as I had some trouble (what the hell do they say when they're on the rear gate?). :-)
