Anyone watching the GBP / Euro?

Anyone keeping an eye on the GBP or Euro? They are dropping like a rock this week

Might be a good time to purchase stuff if you need something from Europe / UK

Any thought out there if they will continue to drop or when they might bounce back?

I think I am going to purchase my transmission and some other stuff today

I never really paid much attention to the exchange rate prior to buying my 90 but I was lucky as the rate was in my favor when I purchased it. Been watching it from time to time and it is intresting how much it can change and how much you can save dependant on the exchange rate.

GBP had a high in the last year of 1.69, started this week at 1.53 and today it went as low as 1.45
> 25 cents per dollar spent saved if you had purchased at the low VS high

Euro had a high in the last year of 1.51, started the week at 1.34 and today hit a low of 1.25
> 26 cents per dollar spent saved if you had purchased at the low VS high

It will make a slight diffrence on my transmission @ 945 GBP but if someone were looking for a truck it could be a nice chunk of change

General elections took place in the UK Thursday this week resulting in a hung parliament where no clear winner (yet) has been declared. The 'markets' are waiting to see what happens and meantime the Pound has dipped against the dollar. Was at $1.14 first thing this morning when the election result was announced but has crept back up today. Buy now!
