Anyone know this LR3?

Over the weekend while sitting around the campfire with some rover buddies I had the brilliant idea of swapping my Titan for an LR3. It sounded like a great idea that night then the next day I started looking around and came across this one. Now that reality has set in it feels kinda wrong to get rid of the pickup when I have metal work to deliver and materials to pick up. But I tell myself that the LR3 can tow really well so all I need is a trailer or convert the 110 to a pickup.

Anyways, I'm wondering if anybody knows this truck or what something like this should go for.

It is a bit quick to jump on this since I really only came up with the idea a couple of days ago, but it's sure tempting me.

Thanks

Thanks for talking me off the ledge guys. That one went for more that I thought and still didn't hit the reserve.

I'm sure I'll have a better outlook once I sort out my leaky injector pump and have the 110 on the road. Some new lines are on the way.

If you don't have a use for the truck I don't see why not. I sold my dodge ram 2500 for my LR3 because I never used the feature of the truck part of it.

Stick to what you've got. Campfire ideas are best forgotten.

Every time I own a truck I talk myself into selling it because I do not use it enough and I would get more use out of xyz thing that I am interested in at the time.

Then I wish I had a truck

Yeah. I've owned a truck for so many years now I guess I take it for granted. I do need to haul stuff around from time to time. Even with the truck I liked to use my 5x10 trailer, until it was stolen along with my 5x8 enclosed trailer, because it has a lower deck to get up on to. Sometimes they are a pain to maneuver but at that size they pull around like they aren't even there. With the 110 laid up it seems kinda ridiculous driving just myself to and from work in the big truck.

The other brilliant idea I had was to sell off the Titan and the 110 and get that 130 hi-cap...

If I had a 130 and a 100 I think my rover itch would be cured for a long time

Yes that one. But I don't want to pay that extra commission fee.

I didn't know that there is a commission fee - unless you count the Ebay charges. Price is $42K with no reserve...Not much more than I have into it. I'd love to see it sell for more but seems to me that the price is more than fair. Am I missing something?

I think you missed when people were asking to buy it before you put any work into it.

I never saw anyone offer to spend $32K on a parts truck. One individual expressed interest in the truck with minimal work and passed on it due to size.

Whomever buys this truck will have a great 130 regardless of your views on commerce, and the community will have one more Defender running around the USA.

Apologize for the hijack and will let the thread return to topic...

Keep the truck - or swap the 110 for a 130 and get the LR3
