Anyone know this 110?

A customer is looking for information on this 110 that he is thinking about buying. Appears to be a salvage NAS 110 rebuilt on a ROW 300 Tdi. Anyone know it and/or what # it is?

haha I was going to ask if it was in Texas. There was a very similar truck for sale a little over a year ago out of TX and it was in the $30s IIRC. It must be somewhere here in the Flea Market. Have you checked to see if Pendy knew it?

Here you go. I couldn't find the one I had posted though (probably with pics). It number 280/500 1993 NAS 110 right? Only one I could think of with a 300tdi and salvage. It had an engine fire and was replaced with a ROW body.

Found it. I had posted it in your Wanted thread years ago.

that's not an NAS body. rollcage is missing tabs, my truck doesn't have the high red brake lights, vented bulkhead, side intake on the wing.

if it's an NAS it got a whole new body

Thats it, # 280. Thanks for the research.
Many years ago I spoke with the guy who built it, but he never seemed to complete it.
Images from 2007. It was a total loss burnt 110 rebuilt with all new everything. It is not a "stock" NAS 110.

Badge, who knows. Maybe it burnt up as well
In a Euro re-body he would have added the lower NAS lights. The upper brake lamps would have been on the Euro tub.

Remedial question, is it not considered stock because it was rebuilt from salvage or because it likely wasn't rebuilt with OEM NAS parts?

EDIT: And if I had read the thread, I would have had my answer

Not "stock" because it is not in the original configuration IMO.
Tdi with later model body and lots of goodies means "not stock" to me.
"Stock" would be very close to a NAS 110 with a EFI V8, etc etc.
Nothing wrong with bringing back a burnt 110 like this, but it just isn't "stock".
Buyer said he could get it in the 30s and that didn't seem like a bad deal.

Yep, makes total sense, thanks.. I skimmed and clearly missed the salient points

Thanks all for the research. I'm going to link the potential buyer to this thread. That should give him all the info he needs.

Actually I just got this from the customer in regards to the link to this thread, "Wow! This is a big help! Thank you! "
