Anyone in Kansas?

New posting to Riley, going to be bringing the D90 down. Just seeing if there is anyone in say Kansas City or the surrounding area.

Plan on being able to go to things over in Colorado.

If you don't know his address, I'm sure one here can provide it. He works out of a shop built behind his home.
Is very hard to get hold of and seems somewhat private.
Great guy though and knows his stuff.

I am in Kansas City. Not much going on here Rover wise nowadays sadly. Years ago we had a pretty great active club. There are a few of us here but sadly nothing happens anymore. Would love to get together if you are ever in the KC area. There is not much out by where you will be trail wise except a place called Tuttle Creek ORV area in Manhattan, Kansas. Would be fun to get a small trip there some day.

Welcome!

Pendy is everywhere. But mostly around Wichita IIRC.

If you do look him up, tell him the internet says hi.

You don't? I thought over 90% of us here had his address.
I'll be visiting him there in the next month or so. He's sorting out some wiring issues on my Discovery Tdi.

The last time you were there, you see the white Disco with the roof rack? That one is mine.

Excellent got the address and it is not too far from where I will be at. Decided to be a bit adventurous and do the drive in the defender rather than trailer it.

Last big trip in the defender was driving from Ft. Knox to Ft. Lewis back in 2010 so this should be fun. Trying to get things all sorted for the drive namely the questionable operating cooling system and a couple smallish leaks.

I am in Omaha and planning a trip to Tuttle for the weekend of June 7th. I know it's short notice, but it would be great to meet some of you guys!

Hey Rob! Man I would love to meet you out there but I am going to be out of town that weekend sadly. Looks like we have enough folks nearbyish to get a trip down to Tuttle. We should definitely get something scheduled. There is also a really great ORV park in Springfield, MO. That I have been to. MUCH better than Tuttle. A bit further but totally worth it.

I also want to get a group together to possibly go down to Arkansas and run the Ozark Overland Trail. Pretty easy route of with some water crossings etc... but if it is done in the fall at the height of fall colors it would be amazing. It's about a 2-3 day trail with camping along the way. Could be really awesome.

Just watched a couple videos of the trail looks fun. I could be down for a little land rover trail adventure.
