Won in a Rover Rally drawing. We'll share our good luck. Two black steel side rails for a Land Rover Defender 90. Pick up at our house by August 19th.

I did, and I'm happy to pass them on to someone. I think that they're "side protection rails" that DAP carries that are on sale for $129.00. It looks like they fit below the sill panel that is left intact. Let me be clear that these aren't heavy duty sliders, though they're more than just cosmetic. They wouldn't be too difficult to strengthen, either.

Anyone want them? They would be free, of course, though I'd really prefer not to have to try and find packaging for them and take them to UPS, so local pickup in Arlington, VA would be nice.

Follow-up Post:

Picture from DAP's site of what I think they are.

Will those fit in place of sills? Mine are pretty bad and I'd like something untill I can find a local shop to make a set of sliders for me.

It looks like they actually fit below the sills as they are. However, it would be pretty easy to redo the brackets so they'd fit in place of the sills.

Glad they'll work and sorry I missed you. Sorry there's no hardware, though it looks like they're easy enough to install.
