Dear Mr. Moderator,
If you should happen to glance at this thread I would love to hear about your 4.6 install. I'd like to hear what kind of problems you have run into, or anything that you might do different if you had it to do all over again. If you feel uncomfortable posting about it because of your position here, or want me to mind my own damn business, no offense taken.

I have two options:

1. Put the 109 body on the 91 RR frame with the 4.6, or
2. In my 95 D1

LOL, it's cool. But I am only installing a 4.0 not a 4.6. But They are pretty much the same, and there are some problems I have run into that I am in the middle of trying to sort out. But from what I have done Ithink the easiest way to go is to make the 4.0/4.6 more like the 3.9, and by that I mean changing the front cover on the engine so you can run with a distributer and a 14CUX ECU. If you want to convert to a GEMs electronic ignition there is 1 big thing I learned, for the GEMs system you need a cam shaft positioning sensor. The sensor has pickups on the flywheel, but if you are like me you have to change the flywheel for the manual trannsmision as most 4.0/4.6s came with an automatic. Well the manual flywheels son't have the pickups. I learned this the hard way. I'll come up with a better list of what is needed and what work is involved when I am done.
