I concure with you're decision on the Mud console vs. the IG. The IG doesn't have the OEM look that the Mud kit has. It looks like it's been sprayed with hammerite.

So if you're transfering your gauges to this console what are you installing in the LaSalle console in thier stead? By the way, I ordered my LaSalle liner. I got two other guys into a group buy so the shipping was only ~$115. I should get it in about 2-3 weeks.

DJ

You are correct! Thanks, I agree on the difference.

Congrats on the liner. You'll love it when all is said and done. One thing I'm not sure I mentioned as well. It might be a good chance for you to put some hoodliner or other lightweight deadening material on the roof. I went back and did this after but it was more because I noticed slight vibration from the diesel (cavitation at idle).

I'm not transferring any gauges, just adding a few more... I'm adding volt, outside temp (which will be switched to air pressure after I finish my compressor install), and fuel gauge for the aux tank. Just need to decide on some switches.

FYI Guys, we've just been approached this week by a US dealer wanting to stock the MUD Dash console in the states. Just as soon as we receive a firm order, I'll post to notify where you can purchase the console in the US.

I did start to think about it, but I don't know that it'll improve acoustics of the cab all that well since I'd have to furnish the rest of the D90 too. Did it make a difference for you?

Wow. So you'll have three gauges in the Mud-box, three in the overhead console, and the three in the OEM binnicle! Sounds like you're D90 is dialed.

I can't wait to see the end results. Be sure to post them up here or on your PB site.

By the way, how are the brakes treating you?

Keep us updated with the details of the install (NAS cutting?) and some final pictures. What is the liner made out of? Looks like three piece fiberglass?? I've been mulling over my options in terms of a new headliner. BTW, if anybody wants some motivation for recovering or ordering the La Salle, here's the OEM part numbers and prices:

Front (NAS specific): BTR5334LUH, $597.43
Middle: MXC2347LUH, $379.91
Rear: MWC9485LUH, $461.31

Yikes!

The Front NAS is about the same price for the entire LaSalle D110 liner.

Just to close the loop on this, I got a quote from jolly old England (John Craddocks). Prices in Pounds:

PART No Description Qty Total
BTR5334LUH HEADLINING - ROO 1 283.000
MXC2347LUH HEADLINING CENTRE 110 S/W 1 196.000
MWC9485LUH HEADLINING - ROO 1 232.780
AWR4709LUH FINISHER 1 55.000
5000 EXPORT CARRIAGE CHARGE 1 49.000

Providing it can be placed in one carton it can go for the price quoted with Parcel Force. If once packed it exceeds Parcel Force limit the carriage cost will increase and it will have to go sea freight.

815.78 pounds ($1,600.86)! Now, about that La Salle headliner...

Depends on what you are going to mount to the front of it. You don't have to cut anything just to mount it. But you'll run into problems with the depth of any accessories you mount through it.

Just received the dashes from Mudstuff UK, great product! The packaging was the best I've seen so far from the UK.... really a pleasure to deal with Kevin and Stu. Thank you.

The price for D90 folks is $135 plus shipping.

Here's an alternative. No US distributor as of yet. When I ask Phil (owner) a few months back, he quoted me 16 pounds to ship to Orlando.
